For today's writing assignment I asked the students to imagine they were
a scarecrow living in a field. Describe a normal night from your point
of view. What do you see? How do you feel? Be specific with vivid
details! We discussed what a story written in first person sounds like an what it adds to the writing. This assignment will be writing using first person. I look forward to reading these fall themed stories and getting a good sense of what it's like for all those scarecrows out there!
